New Years and your pet!
New Year’s Eve can be extremely stressful for your pets! Between the pots and pans being banged on, fireworks, and holiday parties with dozens of your friends and family, its a pretty steady stream of noise. Some owners even have to get sedation from their vet to help their pet get through the stressful night. To try to avoid this, you can start by keeping your pet isolated and in a back room where they have a calm familiar environment. Leaving the tv on, not too loud, can also drowned out sounds of music and parties. Also, if your pet is isolated you can definitely avoid being fed table scraps from generous guests! Everyone wins! Being close on hand in case something does happen to your pet is important, you can never be too safe when it comes to the holidays. Make sure you have the number of an emergency vet handy during these times! Have a safe and Happy New Year!

Naughty Pets!!!
I just wanted to touch on a topic that has recently touched my life personally! Our new puppy ate an entire new bottle of medication. That is a serious problem!! Imagine if you took an entire bottle of pills. How can we avoid this problem? Lets keep it simple guys! Keep your medication in an area above the sink! As long as it is out of reach, your good. Put it in a drawer, do what you have to do! Its not worth the hospital bills. trust me!!
